A. IELTS LÀ GÌ?

• Hệ thống Kiểm tra Anh ngữ Quốc tế (The International English Language Testing System) được thiết kế để giúp bạn làm việc, học tập hoặc di cư đến một quốc gia sử dụng tiếng Anh là ngôn ngữ mẹ đẻ.
• Khả năng Nghe, Đọc, Viết và Nói tiếng Anh của bạn sẽ được đánh giá trong quá trình kiểm tra. IELTS được chấm theo thang điểm từ 1 đến 9.
• Bằng IELTS có thời hạn sử dụng là 2 năm.

B. TẠI SAO NÊN HỌC IELTS?

• Tiếng Anh là ngôn ngữ phổ biến, được sử dụng nhiều thứ ba trên thế giới, với hơn 379 triệu người nói trên toàn thế giới.
• IELTS là bài kiểm tra phổ biến nhất dành cho những người muốn di cư, học tập, làm việc tại nước ngoài. Nó được công nhận trên toàn cầu bởi hơn 11.000 nhà tuyển dụng, trường đại học, trường học và cơ quan nhập cư bao gồm 3.400 tổ chức ở Hoa Kỳ.
• Bằng IELTS là chuẩn đầu ra của các trường Đại học lớn trên toàn thế giới
• Tại Việt Nam, học sinh lớp 12 sẽ được miễn thi môn Tiếng Anh kỳ thi Tốt nghiệp THPT Quốc gia khi có bằng IELTS trên mức 4.0. Bên cạnh đó, hiện nay, nhiều trường Đại học nổi tiếng đã và đang xét tuyển thẳng hoặc cấp học bổng cho sinh viên có bằng IELTS.

C. IELTS SCORE SCALE.

9.0	Expert user	The test taker has fully operational command of the language. Their use of English is appropriate, accurate and fluent, and shows complete understanding.
8.0	Very good user	The test taker has fully operational command of the language with only occasional unsystematic inaccuracies and inappropriate usage. They may misunderstand some things in unfamiliar situations. They handle complex and detailed argumentation well.
7.0	Good user	The test taker has operational command of the language, though with occasional inaccuracies, inappropriate usage and misunderstandings in some situations. They generally handle complex language well and understand detailed reasoning.
6.0	Competent user	The test taker has an effective command of the language despite some inaccuracies, inappropriate usage and misunderstandings. They can use and understand fairly complex language, particularly in familiar situations.
5.0	Modest user	The test taker has a partial command of the language and copes with overall meaning in most situations, although they are likely to make many mistakes. They should be able to handle basic communication in their own field.
4.0	Limited user	The test taker’s basic competence is limited to familiar situations. They frequently show problems in understanding and expression. They are not able to use complex language.
3.0	Extremely limited user	The test taker conveys and understands only general meaning in very familiar situations. There are frequent breakdowns in communication.
2.0	Intermittent user	The test taker has great difficulty understanding spoken and written English.
1.0	Non-user	The test taker has no ability to use the language except a few isolated words.
0.0	Not attempt the test	The test taker did not answer the questions.
